Photo books for parents with zero time for photo books

I love photo books. I made a bunch with our wedding photos to give out to family. I made one for our trip to South Africa years ago. I made one for my pregnancy photos with my first child. I made one for our family trip to Mexico when she was 10 months.

But these days, I just have a lot more going on than I did in those days. I am not saying I'll never make a photo book like those again (I'm sure I will), but I was feeling guilty about not capturing our memories in a way that was more organized than the pile of thousands of photos that live (far from organized) in the cloud somewhere with various companies that I hope still exists in 20 years (c'mon, Google and Amazon, make it last!).

So I've been loving Chatbooks. Are you guys using it? Basically you connect it to your social account (I have mine connected to Instagram) and they automatically turn those photos into a book as soon as 60 photos get collected. If you use my referral link, you get your first book free.

Good quality but not so expensive that they are relegated to sitting on a shelf.

The books are simple, which I love because at this stage in my life, ain't nobody got time for making photos books with clip art and themed backgrounds. You can exclude any photo you don't want, add any photos that aren't on your social account, pick which one is the cover photo, etc. They drop you an email once you've collected 60 photos and ask you to go in to remove or edit any photos and pick the cover. It takes a few minutes max, and then the book is on its way to you! All for $8 per book (that includes shipping), which is so much cheaper and easier than other services.

At that price, the other thing I love is that our kids can actually look through them  (at ages 1 and 3) without me worrying that they will destroy them. If they do rip a page, it's not a huge deal. I could always order another copy if I want.

Definitely worth trying out the first book to see if you like it. Use this link and your first book will be free.
